The New Plymouth Short Film Festival is an independent film festival with a Short Film competition and a unique Taranaki Film Challenge like no other. 

Hosted at the iconic Len Lye Centre in New Plymouth, Taranaki, the Festival will take place on Saturday 6th December and celebrate and reward Taranaki's finest filmmaking talent along with showcasing a selection of top short films from across New Zealand and beyond.

Cash prizes and awards are on offer for the best films selected in the SHORT FILM and TARANAKI FILM CHALLENGE competitions.
